What is Turismo Bergamo Hotels?
Turismo Bergamo Hotels is a project organized by Turismo Bergamo (see “about us” below) in partnership with the software developer E-Land s.r.l (http://www.e-landsrl.it). It provides a portal containing a database of local accommodation associated with Turismo Bergamo. This allows visitors to benefit from a wide range of tourism services and amenities in the region, including a comprehensive guide to all kinds of accommodation (hotels, bed & breakfast, self-catering, holiday farms and hostels etc.).The Project is regional and offers accommodation in and around Bergamo as well as a variety of local attractions. This system is free for all tourism operators participating in the project and allows them to manage and publish their own prices and vacancies without any restrictions.
About us
Turismo Bergamo is the trademark of the Tourism Promotion and Development Agency of the Province of Bergamo S.c.a.r.l. (http://www.turismo.bergamo.it). Founded on 17 October 2001, this company was appointed by the Province Council, the Chamber of Commerce and Bergamo City Council to coordinate tourism promotion in the region of Bergamo by grouping together local tourism consortiums.Turismo Bergamo benefits from the various specializations of its members throughout the region and works with over 300 different businesses offering accommodation and tourism services. It plays a logistical and commercial role in the management of incoming tourism.
Turismo Bergamo promotes the region by coordinating the sale of accommodation and other tourism services. These services are sold either directly by those running the accommodation included in our local consortiums, or in the case of holiday packages, by local consortiums, travel agencies and tour operators, which all hold a regular licence and belong to our local circuit.
The information regarding the tourism services published on Turismo Bergamo Hotels is written either by our members or by their local consortiums. They have no restrictions as to the information they give and take full responsibility for the prices and vacancies published on the system.
Turismo Bergamo is a non-profit making consortium which publishes and publicizes services only and exclusively for its members.
